National Cadet Corps (NCC) 2019-20

NCC CAM

An NCC (ATC) camp was organized by 2DGB at Rohini sector 14, NCC Bhawan. Near about 7 schools and 12 colleges from Delhi region attended this camp & 14 girls cadet of our school attended this camp from 16th to 25th January 2020. It was a proud moment, the cadets won gold medal in group song, silver in group dance and in the drill second position. They also participated in various other drills and competitions, weapon training, yoga practices, and other activities. The commandant of the camp appreciated the efforts of the students. The Principal of the school motivated the cadets and encouraged them to participate in such events. This initiative was taken by the school NCC care taker Ms. Silky Sharma.

Swachtta Pakhwada 

Swachtta Pakhwada by NCC cadets was held at Greenway Modern School. The students were taken to the near by park to clean the surroundings. Awareness was done on the importance of Swacchta through rally also. This was conducted under the guidance of NCC care taker Ms. Silky Sharma

NCC ANNUAL TRAINING CAMP-21.06.2019 to 30.06.2019
 

Students of Greenway Modern School got the chance to attend NCC Annual Training Camp held at NCC Bhawan, Rohini from June 21 to June 30, 2019.

The cadets were involved in various activities like drill practices, weapon training and yoga sessions. They got the opportunity to go to Delhi Cantt. for firing. Lectures on Cyber Crime, women safety, anti tobacco campaign and hygiene enlightened the cadets. Several games like volley ball, kho, tug of war and basket ball raised their sportsmen spirit. Dance and song competitions were also organized as a part of cultural program in which Ayushi Mahawar won a gold medal in solo dance competition. Greenwanians also won silver medal in group song competition.

At the closing ceremony, Ayushi Mahawar mesmerized everyone with her dance performance. Ms Sarita stayed with the cadets in the camp and ensured health and wellness of the cadets.

It was a great learning experience for the cadets. They learnt the key skills of life i.e. Time management and adaptability. Their gaiety was on cloud nine when they received their certificates.  The Principal of the School Mr. Mohit Sachdeva congratulated the students and the teachers for their performances
