Christmas brings cheer & love and we at Greenway Nursery School celebrated it with same fervor, spreading the message of love & joy among our students. Our Pre-School and Pre-Primary students enjoyed a virtual party.  They dressed up in Red & White colour dress & ate Christmas cake.  Teachers showed them a beautiful story on Birth of Jesus Christ.  They danced to the exciting tune of Jingle Bells.  Students also did some craft activities, where students of Pre-School made Christmas Tree & decorated it and students of Pre-Primary made Santa Claus.  Teachers also told the students the importance of caring & sharing and spreading goodness all around.

On 25^th December , students of Nursery, Primary, Middle & Senior
Wing organized a virtual Christmas and New Year celebration. The event
was conducted online wherein they witnessed wonderful presentations
depicting the importance of Christmas, Nativity of Jesus and some
lively dances. The students of Class 10th gave their New Year
resolutions. A Surprise event was the song by the Teachers GOOD THINGS
TAKE TIME. The Principal of the school, Mr. Mohit Sachdeva appreciated
the event with his blessings and wishes. Even though we couldn't meet
the students still it was a well organized online celebration

Class X students of Greenway Modern School, Dilshad Garden got an opportunity to attend a career counseling session by the renowned Counselor, Gold medalist, Dr Anubhuti Sehgal. The students were given the best guidance of how to choose an appropriate stream in class XI to get an appropriate career in future. The students were enlightened to all the aspects of the best career building and different, interesting courses that Science, Commerce and Arts students in their own respective field, can opt for. The students were also  made informed about the colleges/institutions and universities to get admission   in future. The students were encouraged to analyze their strength areas and interest in any particular field to build a fruitful and prosperous career. The questions and queries put up by the students were very well resolved and answered by Dr Anubhuti. It was really a very instructive and edifying session.

 Principal of the school congratulated and appreciated the efforts of the students & teacher In-charges  Ms. Manju Kasana ATL INCHARGE, Jaishree Shreedharan activity in-charge, teacher In-charges Ms. Neha  Arora, Ms. Poonam  Makhija,  Ms. Ritu Gupta & Ms. Nancy. It was indeed a proud moment. The declaration of the result was held on 18th December 2021.

MINISTRY OF POWER had organized a  National Painting Competition on Energy Conservation on the topic  ENERGY EFFICIENT INDIA_ CLEANER PLANET. 

 The Students of  Greenway Modern school actively participated in this event and about 50 paintings were sent to the Ministry. As a gesture the Ministry sent certificates and goodies for the students.

A small Prize Distribution ceremony was held in school on 18th December 2021 wherein the parents of the students who participated in this event were called and were given the prizes.

 Principal of the school congratulated and appreciated the efforts of the students,Art teachers Ms.Anita, Ms.Neha Meena and Activity Coordinator Ms.Jaishree Shreedharan.  It was a proud moment for the school, the winners and their parents.

A drawing /Essay/Slogan/Short Film making competition was organized by DLSA Shahdara under the aegis of National Legal Services Authority NALSA &  District Legal Service Authority DSLSA from 08.11.2021 to 12.11.2021 to celebrate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. 

Greenwanians actively participated in this mega event with great zeal & enthusiasm. It was a proud moment Harishit  Kumar of 8^th B got second prize in the Inter School Essay Competition. The Principal of the school congratulated & appreciated the participants & winners.

Pristine process of development had brought man from woods to settlements. As the years rolled by, we got acquainted with the concept of sustainable development. Inspirational, Greenway Modern School had taken the prudent gesture to enlighten and embolden it's students for sustainable development through the project.

The school has initiated an earnest and persistent gesture for sustainable development through which we formulate organizing principles which helps to sustain the limited resources essential to provide for the needs of our future generation.   School has always been front line warrior in the Global fight against all environmental related issues.  For further strengthening the process, we've come up with more Sustainable Development Goals  ( SDG) programmes along with the existing ones under Ms Deepa Bhardwaj.  This initiative, will surely be able to create little difference for our Mother Earth and will make it a better place to live.  Also, will be able to sensitize  our immediate community and create  social awareness  for the same through our SDG warriors.

Students of classes VI-IX conducted a service learning project and they found ways to cut down on the trash they generate and tried to find out the alternatives of waste disposal. 3 winners from all participating classes were selected and awarded with certificates. The students of Greenway Modern School Dilshad Garden Delhi-95 participated in the India International Science Festival (IISF) 2021,  organized on 12th of December 2021 for  creating GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORD  involving maximum participation at a given time for creating history

 During this event each and every participant was provided with rain water harvesting kit which they needed to assemble within 35 minutes. Main attraction of this event was that, all participants were working simultaneously to complete their task 

This event was organized by the Ministry of Science & Technology and Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India.

 Fifty students of our school participated in this World record event, which proved to be a great learning experience for them. The  Principal Mr. Mohit Sachdeva,  appreciated  efforts made by participating students as well teachers coordinator Ms. Manju Kasana and Ms. Nancy Gupta for  motivating and preparing students for this event.

Greenway Modern School, Water Conservation Club under Ms. Deepa Bhardwaj had taken the initiative along with the students & activity coordinator as per the circular Jal Shakti  Abhiyan awareness held the poster making competition for primary & middle wing  to make them aware how important it is to save water. Without this perishable and precious resource life on earth cannot be imagined. The students also dedicated a video message for all, through which we learnt that saving water is not the responsibility of  one single  individual but for a nation as a whole.
