This year Pariksha Pe Charcha was held live by PRIME MINISTER at Bharat Mandapam. PPC is part of the larger movement _EXAM WARRIORS led by our PRIME MINISTER to create a stress-free atmosphere for youngsters. The PM urged everyone to put exams in the right perspective, rather than making it a life-and-death situation punctuated by undue stress and pressure. Students and Parents along with teachers interacted with PM wherein he explained how to manage time during exams, how to become stress-free, and how to deal with life. He also explained to everyone that exams are just to check the knowledge of students not to judge their capabilities.  Students learned about the real idea of conducting examinations besides the fact that examinations are not conducted to judge someone. They also got to know how one should be when the examinations are going on. The students learned about stress stress-free lifestyle even during exam time. Before the interactive session, the PM saw the models made by the students and appreciated them for their innovation.  The GREENWANIANS are thankful to the PM for taking the initiative of such a session.

On December 20, 2023, an online cultural exchange program was held between Greenway Modern School and St. Petersburg School No. 349, hosted by the latter. During the event, St. Petersburg School No. 349 demonstrated their love and affinity for Indian culture through videos showcasing their enthusiastic celebration of the festival of lights, Diwali. This was followed by a discussion between students from both schools about the similarities between their festivals and cultures. They also exchanged thoughts on how each community expresses joy and happiness during these occasions. Greenway School extends its gratitude to St. Petersburg School No. 349 for the beautiful demonstration and looks forward to future meetups.

"Awareness on International Day of Persons with Disabilities" Nukkad Natak Event
Date: December 03, 2023, At Greenway Modern School (Dilshad Garden), on December 3rd, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities was marked with a Nukkad Natak (street play) event. Students from classes 4th to 8th actively participated, spreading awareness of disability issues and breaking stereotypes. The event aimed to instill empathy and understanding from an early age, fostering inclusivity. The highlight was the Nukkad Natak, where students delivered powerful messages about inclusivity and understanding challenges faced by persons with disabilities. The event served as a platform for creative expression, sensitizing students to disability challenges and promoting a culture of empathy and inclusion within the school community. Such initiatives contribute to creating a more inclusive and understanding society.

Republic Day, a day of national rejoicing, was celebrated with pomp show, and spirit in Greenway School Dilshad Garden. The day was celebrated with great zeal. The celebration started with flag hoisting, followed by mesmerizing performances by students including dances, singing, and instrumental music. The celebration was transcended to another dimension by our coordinator Ms Anuja Jaitley’s speech which served as an encouragement by expressing gratitude and thanking everyone making the auspicious occasion a memorable one. Further, to mark the importance of this day, a small cultural program was organized on the school premises which included dance, music, and speech by the students. Listening to patriotic songs by our choir group triggered in the children and teachers alike, many emotions; pride, love, and respect for the country. The assembly concluded with a vote of thanks by our activity in charge Ms Jaishree Shreedhar.

*Heritage Odyssey: Celebrating Cultural Splendor at Greenway Modern School, Dilshad Garden*
On the vibrant morning of December 30, 2023, Greenway Modern School in Dilshad Garden transformed into a cultural kaleidoscope with the unveiling of its Tourism and Cultural Heritage Club exhibition, aptly named Heritage Odyssey. The event was a testament to the rich tapestry of global heritage and cultural marvels.
With an air of enthusiasm and creativity, students showcased their ardor for history, art, and architectural marvels through an array of meticulously crafted models representing diverse heritage sites, iconic monuments, and revered places of worship and showcased their craftsmanship through the creation of innovative travel gears. Each exhibit was a labor of love, a testament to the students' dedication and appreciation for cultural heritage. The exhibition also featured an array of paintings that celebrated traditional art forms such as Warli, Mandala, Madhubani, and more. These intricately designed artworks served as captivating glimpses into the vibrant artistic traditions embedded in various cultures across the world.   A highlight of the event was the grand inauguration of the club's emblematic logo, symbolizing the club's commitment to preserving and promoting cultural heritage. Parents' excitement added vibrancy to the event. Their pride in their children's cultural understanding highlighted the importance of nurturing such awareness. The Heritage Odyssey exhibition not only provided a platform for students to exhibit their creativity and knowledge but also fostered a deeper understanding and respect for the world's diverse cultural heritage among the attendees.

The accomplished ones and ex-Greenwanians shared their experience with the young minds, who currently are facing similar difficulties that they faced, They guided the next batch with the learning they learned while facing and then also overcoming those difficulties, apart from guidance via different tips and strategies on achieving academic success, they also provided the young students with the courage, motivation, self-belief to move forward and advance fearlessly by sharing their personal stories, the alumnae and alumni also provided with specific tips for there respective entrance exam and also cleared the doubts of students via a doubt session. They provided tips to maximize productivity, clear backlog, manage both schools as well as preparation for entrance exams, etc.   The school and students both wholeheartedly thank the ex-Greenwanians for showing such generosity.

An awareness program on ADOLESCENCE ISSUES was organized in the school on 15th December for classes 6 to 8 to make them aware of the physical, cognitive, and emotional changes in an adolescent child. The session, conducted by Ms Jaishree Mehta, was very informative and interactive and the students participated extensively. The issues were explained in a detailed manner with the help of real-life examples. This session was participatory, encouraging students to share their opinions and challenges and by providing suggestions during the workshop. Various issues like coping with distractions and mood swings were discussed wherein children told their concern areas and the challenges faced by them. The students were well equipped about adolescent issues and concerns. All the queries of the students were politely answered by the resource person. Overall the session was very informative and interactive

Greenway Modern School organized a picnic at Rangmanch farms for classes 1 - 12. Rangmanch Farm offers a spectacular experience with over 80 thrilling activities, ensuring an adventure for every taste. The excitement buzzed through the air as the school buses rolled up to the gates of Rangmanch Farms, promising a day filled with adventure and thrill. The atmosphere crackled with energy as the students gathered for a quick orientation, setting the tone for a day brimming with adrenaline-pumping rides and shared moments of joy. Students dashed off in different directions, fueled by enthusiasm to explore and dive into the ocean of activities. Some students were engrossed in rides, while others tried their hand at pottery-making or relishing the thrill of zip-lining across the verdant landscape. As midday arrived, the students were served with a vast variety of dishes boasting an amazing array of flavors. The sun began to set and the day drew to a close as the farm's lights sparkled against the evening sky. Tired yet elated, students gathered for a final rendezvous, reliving their favorite moments. With hearts full of memories and an atmosphere filled with joy, students boarded the buses, bidding farewell to a delightful day at the Rangmanch farm. The school picnic was a whirlwind of thrills, laughter, and amusing exposure. The echoes of laughter and the smiles on the children's faces were a testament to the success of the school picnic at Rangmanch Farms.
