Greenway Modern School believes in “Conserving Nature, saving life” and with that thought organised an educational trip to Nature’s heaven YAMUNA BIODIVERSITY PARK for classes VIII and XI. Our students gained invaluable hands-on experience with nature and conservation. As we stepped into the park, we were immediately immersed in the sights and sounds of Delhi's rich biodiversity.

Our guide expertly navigated us through the park's diverse ecosystems, pointing out native plant species and explaining their medicinal properties. We spotted various bird species, including the rare Indian peafowl, and even caught a glimpse of the park's thriving butterfly population.

The trip was not just a fun outing, but also an educational experience. Our students learned about the importance of conservation, the impact of human activities on the environment, and the interconnectedness of ecosystems.

The Yamuna Biodiversity Park is a treasure trove of ecological wonders, and our visit was a testament to its value as an educational resource. We returned to the classroom inspired, with a newfound appreciation for the natural world and our role in preserving it.

The Principal of the school emphasized that these kind of trips must be organised time to time to enhance the knowledge of the students.
