MONEY MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND
Exhibition- "From Barter System to Bit Coins"
The students of Class IX enthusiastically participated in the ISA activity “Money makes the world go round”. This project was divided into two topics – ‘Barter system to Bit Coins’ and ‘Comparative Values of Currencies’. Under the first topic students learnt how people of ancient times used to exchange goods instead of using currency and how gradually people learnt an easier way of using currency for buying and selling of goods. Under the second one, students learnt the currency values of foreign countries like Australia, Britain, and Nigeria. Most of the children were a part of exhibition and quizzes were held regarding the project. These activities were held with proper guidance of the teachers involved in the project. It was an easy and interesting way to learn.
Students actively participated and it was a good experience especially for modern generation kids to learn something new, different from textbooks and explore the world in which they live.
After the completion of activity, an exhibition was organized on the day of PTM to make the parents know about the global knowledge which their ward was about to acquire through this activity.
