Greenway Modern School took special initiative and organized a workshop with the help of Delhi Police to teach female students “Self Defence”.  During the training the students were taught different types of punches, kicks and ways to get rid of an attacker along with several drills. On the finale day a special assembly was held to display a panorama of stunts mastered by the students.  The presence of eminent guest like Additional DCP Mr. Rajinder Singh Sagar, ACP Mr. Narendra Singh Minhas, SHO Seemapuri Mr. C.R. Meena and Mr. Sanjay Mishra Inspector Investigation added glitz and leverage to the event.  They appreciated the vision and systematic approach of the Management.  Chairperson Ma’am Mrs. Sudesh Sachdeva, Manager Sir Mr. Kamal Sachdeva, Principal Sir Mr. Mohit Sachdeva and Vice Principal Sir Mr. Tarun Sachdeva expressed their gratitude and the students felt ebullient to tackle the arduous competitions and dangers of the modern society.

Greenway Modern School conducted activities for the popularization of Thirukkurals messages and expressions from 15^th to 20^th January 2015. The students actively gathered knowledge and participated in the essay writing competition. The students also displayed their creative synergies and competed in the poster making competition, which displayed vibrance. The activities conducted by the school broadened the horizons of the children and the information. They gathered made them aware of the universal human values common to all cultures over the passage of time.

TO CREATE AWARENESS ON IMPORTANCE OF CASTING VOTE, TO INCREASE PEOPLE’S POPULATION IN THE ELECTORAL PROCESS NAMELY SVEEP - Greenway Modern School participated in creating awareness on importance of casting vote in a programme names SVEEP. The school conducted slogan writing, Poster making, Debate. Essay Writing competitions based on importance of voting.  The week long activities focused on shifting from more learning to intellectual and creative thinking and the progress of our country, as the children realized that the overall development of the nation is the shared responsibility of every citizen.

By casting votes the children understood that they become competent beings and would also fulfill the dream of a congenial and amicable India.
