The students of Greenway Modern School participated in the 66th Republic Day celebrations at Russian Cultural Centre to signify strength, sanctity and progress. The band performance left the delegates and audience foot tapping and they were mesmerized by the spirited passion of these young budding artists.  The delegation team led by Ms. Tatiana from Moscow and the cultural section of Russian Cultural Centre, Mr. Arsini, gave them their blessings.  The other dignitaries from Indo Youth Centre, Ministry of Culture and Principals of other Schools also appreciated the efforts of the students.  The performance was a spearheading towards the exchange programme, which was initiated by the school Principal Mr. Mohit Sachdeva who aims to facilitate student mobility across institutions and cultures.

    ROAD SAFETY WEEK

    Greenway Modern School celebrated the 26th Road Safety Week from 11th-17th January 2015 in the school amid a variety of events. Evocative sessions for students were given along with video streaming depicting the importance about the safety of self and others. The entire school façade and pin-boards displayed banners with this year’s theme- “Safety is not just a slogan, it’s a way of life”.

     Special assembly was conducted, which enlightened the students about the relevance of Road Safety. The school also conducted essay writing and poster making competition and children were judged on several parameters like creativity, presentation and originality. Medical camps for checkup of drivers of school transport were also undertaken. The Principal Mr. Mohit Sachdeva said that children should be led into the right path not by severity but by investing in knowledge and persuasion which will assist them to follow rules and become good citizens.

      N.C.C. CAMP 2014 - 2014

      Greenway Modern School actively participated in the N.C.C. camp, which was held at Ravishankar Sarvodya Kanya Vidyalaya,  Bawana from 3rd January 2015 to 12th January 2015 under the mentorship of  the Camp Commandant Lt. Col. Rajiv Kumar Sadana.  The girls from 7th to 9th standard participated in the Camp, which educated the future legacy holders about the army life and the young crusaders also under took P.T. and drills every morning for physical fitness. 

      The cadets were also enlightened with lectures on various topics like parts of rifles, prevention from diseases and civil defense. Many competitions were also organized like debate, solo song, group song, group dance, Quiz and Kho-Kho matches in which Greenway enthusiastically competed and won 3 prizes among 9 schools and 4 colleges.  The cadets from Greenway Modern School under the guidance of Ms. Vandana Gaur thoroughly enjoyed the camp which meticulously nurtured the aspirations of the young with a wonderful experience.

        NATIONAL ACCOUNTS CHAMPIONSHIP 2014 - 2015.

        Greenway achieves yet another Glory in Commerce Championship

        It’s a matter of esteem pride to declare the triumph of our students in National Commerce Championship conducted by G.M’s Education Trust. Three students of our school achieved the benchmark of securing top 3 All India ranks.

        About 20,000 students participated from all over India and the first three converted ranks were won by Greenwanians Abhishek  Garg, Vaishali Gupta and Anuj Gogna of Class XII-E. They were given cash prizes of Rs.11,000/- , Rs.5,000/- and Rs.2,000/- respectively as well as trophies and medals.

        Twenty one of our students secured position amongst the first 100 students School Principal Mr. Mohit Sachdeva, Vice Principal Mr. Tarun Sachdeva and the entire Management appreciated the sincere efforts of the Accounts teacher Mrs. Neelam Gupta as well as the hard work of students and co-operation of their parents.
