Dear Parents/students,

Delhi Govt. Scholarship for SC, ST, OBC and Minority students for the session 2017-18 is available on Delhi Govt. website i.e. https://edistrict.delhigovt.nic.in . Read the guidelines on http://www.delhi.gov.in/wps/wcm/connect/DoIT_Welfare/welfare/home/ carefully and apply accordingly. Last date to apply online is extended upto 28th February 2018.

    Greenway Modern School celebrated its Annual Day ‘UTSAV 2018’ on 27th January 2018 in the Yamuna Sports Complex, Delhi. It was a cultural extravaganza with soulful renditions and colourful dances depicting the unity and diversity saga of India.   The scholar students from Classes VI to XII were awarded certificates and prizes for their academic excellence during the session.  The  Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr. David Goldwin Pollard - Hon’ble Ambassador of Guyana. Guests of Honour were :  Mr. K.L Ganju –Consul Gen (HY) Republic of the Union of Comoros,  Mr. K.G. Suresh –Director General, Indian Institute of Mass Communication  .  Special Guests were : Mr. Boujdaria Jamel – Deputy Ambassador of Tunisia, Ms. Nana Mgeladge – Counselor, Embassy of Russia,  Ms. Eugene Zeegofer – Second Secretary, Embassy of Russia, Mr. Faeq Hamza – Council of Palestine Embassy, Ms. Sho Miura – Council Japanese Embassy, Lion Gaurav Gupta – President, Rajasthani Club, Ms. Parull Mahajan – Social Activist and Ms. Jaya Madan – Renowned Astrologer and motivational speaker.  The occasion was also graced by the School Manager Mr. Kamal Sachdeva, Chairperson  Mrs. Sudesh Sachdeva, Principal Mr. Mohit Sachdeva, Vice Principal Mr. Tarun Sachdeva and their respective families. The mass participation of the school students and Russian students with their teachers was appreciated by the eminent guests, management and parents.

      Greenway Modern School organized on 1st February, 2018 in the school premises for its Primary Wing (Classes I to V) . The meritorious students were awarded by the school Principal, Mr. Mohit Sachdeva with their mementos and certificates. He inspired and motivated the Scholars and other students to keep the good work throughout their life

        A GLIMPSE OF INDO-RUSSIA STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM

        EXCHANGE OF CULTURE, TRADITION AND SMILES …..

        28 Russian students along with their 4 teachers from Ivantveeka Town (Russia) had a  glimpse  of our Indian Culture on 23rd  January 2018. Greenway Modern School organized a cultural fest for these students and teachers who had visited India as a part of the student exchange program.

        They  were welcomed with traditional garlands  and tilak as a taste of India’s rich heritage grandeur.

        With the multiple dance and musical performance being presented on stage, the Russian students were delighted to understand the diversity of people who come and stand together at all times.

        The students were made aware of the various club activities like astronomy, robotics, eco club . They were delighted to launch the rocket and also were mesmerized by the activities taken in the robotics and eco club.  A friendly match of Basket Ball was also organized which was a boon to their visit.

        The cultural fest included a lot of activities for the students who tried their hand first time at pottery, sweet making, paper quilling and henna designs. They also were guided through the laboratories where they were taught some interesting experiments.

        The day was an overall success when the students were treated with sumptuous Indian cuisine which they relished a lot and also they planted trees in the school premises which was a symbol of friendship to grow for years to come. Also a visit to Akshardham, to one of the seven wonders of the world Taj Mahal , Agra and Delhi Darshan made their trip a memorable one.
